Hello all,
Though 0.8.3 was released a few days ago I've already found a bug which
means that 0.8.4 is hot on it's heals. I've not fixed the bug as yet but
"clnetd" will quickly use up all its file descriptors (as open sockets).
A tried a fix and the Perl worked fine on a HP-UX platform put still no
joy on Linux ... will keep you all posted.
BTW - the clustering software still works OK - just that certain
control messages can not be sent to the clnetd. Thus IP fail-over works,
but if a complete network is lost the required potential application
fail-over is not likely to work.... So using 0.8.3 is still a better
choice than earlier versions ... just not quite perfect as yet.
Regards,
Simon.
